OK-ACRL

The Oklahoma-ACRL, Inc. is one of the 42 chapters of the Association of College and Research Libraries. The chapter was established in 1982 and incorporated in 2000. The Chapter goals are:

  • to provide opportunities for professional growth and communication among academic and research librarians;
  • to encourage the exchange of ideas and information relating to library development; and
  • to enhance library service to all users of academic and research libraries in the state.

Any student, librarian, institution, or individual residing in the state of Oklahoma with an interest in academic librarianship can become a member of OK-ACRL. There are no dues or membership fees associated with becoming a member of OK-ACRL, and ACRL members are automatically added to the OK-ACRL membership.

OK-ACRL is comprised of three subgroups:

Community of Oklahoma Instruction Librarians (COIL)
Digital Services Interest Group (DSIG)
Public & Access Services Interest Group (PASIG)
